You guys are lucky, seeing this.

This is actually Suikosource's next weekly fanart, but you get to see it first.

Sarah, from Genso Suikoden III... I used to hate her, but now I like her. It's a long story. This is a more symbolic piece, I suppose, though it doesn't have a real purpose aside from communicating the sense of loneliness that Sarah had when she was kept in the Circle Temple in Harmonia.

Really, I just wanted to paint some stained glass wings.

The stained glass wings look wonderful; damaged, and yet still shaped like feathers, casting mottled light shadows. Lovely lovely colouring here!

Oddly, I like the underpainting more. Not that this isn't pretty, but you can see more detail. You should try coloring it again less.. darkly? I dunno. S'up to you. ^_^

Well, yeah, but just for the sake of doin' it, you know? ^^; No pressure. I know what it's like to just not want to do something. (I've got an old pic I colored as a night scene (badly, I might add) that I was gonna recolor as a day scene and it just never happened.)
